This site sets no advertising cookie and loads no third-party measurement or advertising script. The only cookies are strictly necessary to provide the service, or remember a choice you made: no consent is therefore requested (Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act) and no banner is shown.
Signing in
Clerk, our sign-in provider, sets __session and __client_uat on this site and __client on its own sign-in subdomain, plus technical redirect cookies during sign-in. They keep you signed in and protect your session; the session token itself expires after one minute and is renewed while you are signed in. They are strictly necessary: without them, sign-in does not work. Their maximum lifetime is one year; signing out invalidates them.
Linking a free bible requested without an account
The __Host-unifaize-diagnostic cookie is set only when you choose “Create an account and keep my bible,” to link the bible to the account you create. It is used only for that, is readable only by this site and is deleted with the bible, no later than 24 hours after it was created.
